I am the developer of THE TRUTH CURRICULUM® which I started writing  way back in 2000 after I earned my Primary Certification from the Association of Montessori Internationale (AMI), CO, USA. 

A year later, in 2001, I established Preppi School Foundation, Inc., a Manila-based international school for preschool and grade school.

May I confess, I did not follow the strict prescriptions of my Montessori training. For instance, I was trained to prepare the child to read by age 3. But in my school I taught children how to read while teaching them life values at age 2, the youngest enrollee we accept.

The classic yet advanced Montessori Method paired with the empowering character-building quality of THE TRUTH CURRICULUM® produced FUNtastically awe-inspiring results.


  • Two year olds learned to read sight words with comprehension


  • 3-4 year olds learned to read phonetic words


  • 3 year olds can read long words “Philadelphia” and started reading phonetic books with passion and understanding


  • 3-5 year olds could calculate mentally with understanding of the abstract concepts like grade schooler


  • 5 -6 year olds did math work more advanced than those who took elementary Kumon


  • Preschoolers developed empathy which debunked a lot of worldly popular psychology 


  • Cry babies transformed into compassionate Beings


  • Bullies turned into blessings within a year of The Truth Therapy® training 


  • Children with temper tantrums turned into Truth Thinkers who learned to control their tears and channel their emotions positively even in the midst of the negative


  • Children became joyful followers, no need for parents to shout or spank


  • Combative parents reconciled and stayed together


  • School rejects became lovable and sociable, mind you, consistently obedient children in school and in the home


  • Those with ADHD developed inner control


  • Supposedly slow learners and special children developed faster and with promising results higher than the expectations of their developmental pediatricians


  • Children with autism learned to read even when their doctors did not believe and mainstreamed eventually; many normalized and were re-classified as non-autistic as I trained them and defended their progress with a battery of proofs and questionnaires I had to fill up


  • Oh the list goes on… I can regale My Little Teacher® stories spanning at least 2 decades.


Ahem, my age is showing. Call it Truth Sage. LOL!

When I started training a lot of children with special needs and garnered positive results, all the more I was inspired to take a course to earn my Certification as a Therapist for children with special needs from the National Institute of Learning Development, VA, USA.

But mind you, I was achieving success in dealing with children with special needs long before I learned the NILD techniques. I tell you, it was THE TRUTH CURRICULUM® that guided me in my teaching.

The biblically-backed and brain-based beliefs I have promoted in THE TRUTH CURRICULUM®, applying its avenue of powerfully purposeful yet playful teaching methods, namely, THE TRUTH THERAPY® and THE PREPPI SYSTEM® were highly effective.

Since I was a designer-manufacturer, exporter-entrepreneur for at least 13 years before I became an educator, I couldn’t help but design PREPPI POWER KITS® which I refer to as FUNdamental Tools Better Than Toys®. This helped the children play to learn sustaining their interest until they excelled in desired skills.

Without exaggeration, children begged to stay longer in school. During no class days, parents called me if they could bring their children to play to learn in my school. Passionate learners hugged the legs of the tables I especially designed wondering if they could stay longer. Play is a child’s work, you see.

What am I trying to say? The teaching techniques I will present to you, WORKs effectively, truly-lee!

I am a believer of The Truth.

In fact, I am the first and presently the most avid learner of THE TRUTH CURRICULUM® even before I established my school.

Oh did I tell you that I also survived stage 4 incurable cancer of the blood and bone called multiple myeloma? My life is never the same again. And yet, in all these, I was able to sustain my Cheer in Christ, beyond all circumstances.

The Power of Parent was originally an article I wrote in my regular column in a magazine that was published nationwide in the Philippines with circulation abroad. It caught the attention of the annual Catholic Mass Media Awards and it won an award in 2006. 

In my other life before cancer, aside from a school owner-director and parent and teacher trainer, I  was a columnist in 2 magazines and a newspaper in the Philippines that was distributed nationwide and abroad. I also used to  host in special events  and speak  in conferences in the Philippines and abroad. 

Post-cancer and currently a widow, I have resumed my life passion to EMPOWER parents and teachers.
